Such a museum was not yet. Nov. 27 in a rural daycare Splavy II (gm. Kraśnik) officially opened the House of Tradition Cegielniana. Among the exhibits are hundreds of bricks from all over the world, photos and newspaper articles. The oldest brick, so called. rosette, comes from the tenth century, it is in good condition and is of great interest in the construction experts. It is also the world’s largest brick molded by hand: it weighs more than 60 kg and was entered into the Guinness Book of Records.

The destination spoke inscriptions on cars, “Kraśnicka brick – the Castle.” It was the first delivery of bricks produced by plants in the county Kraśnik, which were used to rebuild the Royal Castle in Warsaw – Felix says Trojanowski, co-owner of a brickyard in Splavy.

Hence the products, including the brickyard Trojanowski or Osiniak are used to reconstruct the palace of Wilanow, the monuments of Gdansk, Szczecin, Sandomierz, Koszalin, Toruń and many other cities in the country. They are also exported to England, Austria, Denmark, Germany and France.
All kinds, ancient and modern bricks, can now be viewed at the exhibition in the House of Tradition Cegielniana. Municipal authorities Kraśnik chamber will expand, because the interesting exhibits begins to arrive.
