The English “Imperial” Brick 22.5 × 10.5 × 7 cm is a handmade brick inspired by the classic format traditionally used in British architecture. Its proportions and distinctive format give masonry an elegant, solid, and timeless character, appreciated both in modern construction and in the restoration of historic buildings. We mainly produce this model in the Melange colour palette, combining natural shades of orange, red, and cherry red. The natural colour transitions created during firing in the traditional Hoffmann ring kiln give each brick its individual character while creating a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing composition on a façade or in an interior.
The Imperial format is an excellent choice for projects inspired by British architecture, classic brick walls, as well as contemporary barn-style homes and lofts. The larger brick format creates a more distinctive masonry pattern and enhances the character of façades and interiors.
The English “Imperial” Brick is used both for the restoration of historic buildings and for new projects where preserving the traditional appearance of brick masonry while using a high-quality new ceramic material is important.
Upon individual request, the brick can be produced in a more expressive colour palette inspired by our Retro or Zendra models. An aged version with a distinctive, rustic surface texture is also available.
Our products are made exclusively from natural raw materials, without chemical additives, dyes, or plasticisers. Thanks to our traditional production technology and handmade forming process, we guarantee the highest quality and the unique character of every individual brick.
